Très redondant, mais le Secret fonctionne et vous surprendra!

Il y a quelques années j’ai vu le film, aussi paru en 2006, qui était plutôt intéressant. Je me suis dit « Pourquoi pas? ». Après tout, j’ai souvent lu des romans après avoir vu les longs métrages et j’ai presque toujours eu d’agréables surprises : Blow de Bruce Porter, The Beach de Alex Garland, Club Dumas de Arturo Pérez-Reverte, pour ne nommer que ceux-là.
L’idée tourne autour d’un vieux livre centenaire qui a été offert à Rhonda par sa fille Hayley. Dans ce dernier, elle a fait la découverte d’un « Grand Secret – Le Secret de la vie », un secret qui a été aussi connu par les plus grands de ce monde : Platon, William Shakespeare, Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Abraham Lincoln, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, etc.

Le Secret est en fait la loi de l’attraction, comme quoi « vous attirez tout ce qui arrive dans votre vie. Et vous le faite avec les images que vous entretenez dans votre esprit». Vous attirez ainsi le bien comme le mal, vous recevez simplement ce que vous émettez comme signal d’où l’importance de prendre conscience de cette loi afin de contrôler vos pensées et d’obtenir ce que vous désirez vraiment.
Ce que je trouve impressionnant dans ce roman, c’est le tour de force de Rhonda Byrne qui réussit à écrire tout près de 200 pages de contenu sur le paragraphe précédent. C’est un véritable miracle de remplissage qui s’est vendu à des millions d’exemplaires.
Est-ce que le Secret fonctionne? Oui certainement!
Est-ce que je recommande le livre? Oui, mais attendez-vous à ce que ce soit plutôt redondant
