For the Disney music fans

This book contains 240 Disney from various forms of entertainment, including: 1) animated features/featurettes, 2) live action, 3) television, 4) Disney theme parks, & 5) theatrical production. It is likely that this edition was published before "Tangled" & "Frozen", since no songs from those movies are included in this book. There is one index by song title & another by show title. Most, if not all, of the songs seem to be written in the original key. Although there are a lot of songs, a lot of them are classics from older shows; therefore, the millenial generation may not appreciate some of these songs. My only disappointment is that there are only 2 songs from The Hunchback of Notre Dame & only 3 songs from Pocahontas. Over all, it's a good investment for the Disney music fans.

As far as fake books go, this is great because most, if not all, songs are in their original keys. Many fake books put things into "easy" keys, this seems to stay true to the keys and rhythms of the original songs.

Such Fun

This is a great purchase, I love to arrange the songs for my students and myself to play for fun. My students enjoy the songs because they know them, and they also get to learn many chords such as augmented and diminished chords as well as key changes all under the guise of fun Disney songs! The students can also play melodies that they are familiar with and the songs have been meet with success so far.

Fantastic "guy" Bible.

This is a great new Bible recently released by Zondervan. I've taken occasion to really look it over and I am impressed.
The pages of this Bible are filled with one line study portions. There are several recurring themes for added reading that allow a young guy to explore the meanings of the Holy writ. They're short enough to pay attention to and rich enough to add something meaningful to the text.
There are dozens and dozens of colorful pages with tips and ideas for living the Christian Life. How about ideas for a date or team projects, there here with enough flair to grab a boy's attention and help him complete "steps" of life that will honor God.
I really pay attention to bindings and overall book construction, and Revolution: The Bible for Teen Guys is well put together. This Bible even feels like a guy's Bible. It is stout and has nice proportions. The hardback version has a cool cover design and is dark with just a tiny bit of color. The Leather addition has a rich leather or leather like appearance and feel. Supple would be a great word to describe the black leather cover.
If your looking for a Bible that a teen guy can feel pretty good about carrying around in front of his friends, this one will work. If you're looking for a guide to help spur a young man on to greater maturity in Christ, this is still your book. I would feel very comfortable giving this Bible to guys 12-16, and wouldn't be a bit surprised if the older guys liked it too ( I know I do). This is just one high quality offering in the New International Version.

OUTSTANDING!

Wow! This is a fabulous bible! I highly recommend it for young men. We just bought this for our oldest son, who is 12 going on 30!..=) He reads it everyday, and I don't have to ask him to! He told me the other day that it is the first bible he has had that is fun to read, and that makes sense to him- he said it's like they took all his questions and tailored his bible specifically for him! Definately well worth the money- this is a great version!

So no course code no access. What is frustrating is that none of this is mentioned. Also this specific listing does not come with the electronic media. Yes it is mentioned but only if you expand the description. It is not mentioned right up front. So Amazon needs to give a better description and not by buyers finding out after the purchase by going to the Publishers web site.

Having said that I would recommend the book but be aware of what you are NOT getting.

This is a great book. It is not a cook book, it is a textbook for professional chefs in training. I am not a chef in training but a home cook who is interested in elevating my cooking. The book is easy to read and very interesting.

I rented this book for school. I received The Professional Chef (CIA) as a gift last Christmas and thought it would be sufficient, but this book is chock full of good info (and good eatin'). I'm thinking about keeping it because they complement each other well.

Underrated, Jack London's "Little Lady of the Big House" is yet another departure for Mr. London. Packed with psychological and sexual tension (deliberately understated to avoid the rampant censorship prevalent during his time), the book also delves into the emerging personal technologies of the day, with vivid descriptions of labor-saving contrivances. It features detailed portrayals of self-sustaining agricultural methods and cutting-edge industrial advancements, revealing Mr. London's foresight and personal contributions to the "green" living we so value today. Full of betrayals, deceit, and tragedies, it's an interesting picture of the advent of the new sciences of psychology, psychiatry, and symbolism coupled with the lifestyle of London's time.

About the Author
Matt Pharr is a Software Engineer at Google. He previously co-founded Neoptica, which was acquired by Intel, and co-founded Exluna, which was acquired by NVIDIA. He has a B.S. degree from Yale and a Ph.D. from the Stanford Graphics Lab, where he worked under the supervision of Pat Hanrahan.

Wenzel Jakob is an assistant professor at EPFL's School of Computer and Communication Sciences. His research interests revolve around material appearance modeling, rendering algorithms, and the high-dimensional geometry of light paths. Wenzel obtained his Ph.D. at Cornell University under the supervision of Steve Marschner, after which he joined ETH Zürich for postdoctoral studies under the supervision of Olga Sorkine Hornung. Wenzel is also the lead developer of the Mitsuba renderer, a research-oriented rendering system.

Greg Humphreys is Director of Engineering at FanDuel, having previously worked on the Chrome graphics team at Google and the OptiX GPU raytracing engine at NVIDIA. Before that, he was a professor of Computer Science at the University of Virginia, where he conducted research in both high performance and physically based computer graphics, as well as computer architecture and visualization. Greg has a B.S.E. degree from Princeton, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford under the supervision of Pat Hanrahan. When he's not tracing rays, Greg can usually be found playing tournament bridge.
